    Rooted's services are for anyone interested in farming and growing their own food, regardless of age or experience level. We offer services for children starting at age 12 with Seedling, and opportunities for hands-on experience with Sprout. Terra allows anyone interested in sustainable farming to rent plots of land to grow their own food.
  • How are farmer benefited?
    Farmers can benefit from Rooted's services by gaining access to a community of individuals who share their passion for farming, as well as opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills through workshops and internships. When customers rent a plot of land through our Terra service, they pay a service charge to Rooted, and the rest goes directly to the farmer. Similarly, when customers purchase produce from our Sprout farm experiences or through our Seedling subscription service, a significant portion of the revenue goes directly to the farmers.
  • What types of farm experiences are available through Sprout?
    Sprout offers a variety of experiences, including farm visits, internships, and workshops. Farm visits allow visitors to see different types of farms and learn more about sustainable farming practices. Internships provide a more immersive experience and allow participants to learn about all aspects of farm management. Workshops offer the opportunity to learn specific skills, such as composting or beekeeping.
  • Is Sprout only for people interested in becoming farmers?
    Not at all! Sprout is designed for anyone who is interested in learning more about agriculture and sustainable farming practices. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, there's something for everyone.
  • Do I have to pay to do the Internship?
    Yes, You would have to pay to complete your certification. After completion of your certification you can do paid internship.
  • What happens if my crops fail?
    We are not responsible if there is any natural calamities or anything. We do not have any insurance for the crop damages.
  • How much land is available to rent through Terra?
    The amount of land available to rent through Terra varies depending on location and availability. We offer a range of plot sizes to suit different needs and budgets. You have the choise of choosing your own plot size as per your requirement.
  • How do I know how much land to rent?
    You can discuss with the farmer during your farm visit or ask us in the chat. But here is an estimate calculation that you can use to calculate your land size requirement.
  • Do I need to have experience in farming to rent a plot through Terra?
    No! We welcome all levels of experience and offer resources and support to help you get started. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, we're here to help.
  • Can I choose what I want to grow?
    Through our app you can choose what you want to grow and the app would calculate the quantity based on your inputs and requirements. We will provide all the material or resources needed to grow your crop.
  • How will I get my seed and other raw material?
    From rooted we will send it to the from when you place an order in the app.
  • How does the Seedling subscription work?
    Each month, subscribers receive a kit that includes everything needed to start a mini farm ecosystem at home, including seeds, soil, and instructions. The kit also includes access to online resources and support.
  • Is the Seedling subscription suitable for beginners?
    Yes! The Seedling subscription is designed for children ages 12 and up and is perfect for beginners who are interested in learning more about farming and gardening.
  • How long does it take to receive the first Seedling kit?
    Kits are shipped out within 3-5 business days of subscribing, and shipping times vary depending on location. Typically, subscribers can expect to receive their first kit within 7-14 days of subscribing.
